Java Developer (Spring/ SQL)

Technically you will understand and have worked with some (or all):

• Strong Java knowledge
• Java or Java EE Certified,
• Knowledge of patterns, core libraries and frameworks
• Object-Oriented Analysis, Design and Implementation skills
• Demonstrably strong skills in Enterprise Java, including …
• Java Application Server technologies
• JSF 2 with Primefaces
• Java Applets (legacy that we’re converting off of)
• Java Messaging
• Spring and Hibernate
• Working SQL Knowledge
• Comfortable working with some legacy back-end as well as the java mid and front tiers
• We use Genero 4GL for some of our high volume back-end processing
• Experienced and comfortable with
• Eclipse as the main IDE
• Working in an Agile environment (we use JIRA)
• Current Windows experience
• You know your way around Linux with reasonable scripting skills

Your will contribute by:

• Code and test software as part of the Agile team
• Effective communication and documentation skills in English - this includes updating status and technical documents in Jira
• Mentor junior developers when needed
• Troubleshoot and escalating issues when necessary
